About the Skylight
The first handmade guitar Dave ever played was a small jumbo that Jim Olson custom built for Phil Keaggy in the mid 1980ʼs. Itʼs the instrument that inspired him to build in the first place. Our Skylight takes inspiration from Jim’s iconic design. The Skylight’s medium-sized body is built with elegant, modern curves, with the fingerstyle player in mind. Itʼs the perfect size for the stage or studio, with very even response across the tonal spectrum.
We offer the Skylight as either 25.0” scale with 13 frets to the body, or 25.5” scale with 14 frets to the body. We also offer it with a Venetian cutaway.
